"April Promise was conceived for a show about April, part of a four year sequence of print shows celebrating the seasons which took place at The League of NH Craftsmen's Fair at Mt. Sunapee in Newbury NH. It had been a very cold, rainy, and snowy, April, Denise has implied through the rain the promise of the May flowers giving vision to the old adage "April Showers, Bring May Flowers."
